Finally...A Much-Needed Break

Very long entry...I want some opinions regarding something. Skip to the orange part if you don't feel like reading. ^_^

I'm feeling miserable today... :-( Like I got run over by a truck or something. Actually I feel like sh!t now.... -_-

Anyway. I just cheong-ed 5 papers back-to-back for the past few days, so never blog much. But was online surfing net (as usual) because I need to find some form of entertainment. My next paper's on 18th Nov, that will be 2 papers on the same day, and the last paper on the 20th Nov. Kind of sian...coz have to wait so long for my exams to be finished.

Have to study though. I will start tomorrow. Sigh.

Have you ever felt so tired of everything that you wish you can just fade into nothing-ness and then disappear from the face of this world? This is what I feel like now...it's not like I am physically tired...but more like, mentally tired. Sooo tired, so tired, so tired....

I think maybe because my menses are here, hence the negativity. I don't have PMS de. I have DMS (During Menstruation Syndrome). Feel particularly lousy when I have menses. Bah~

Not to mention I had a lousy paper today. Dunno can pass or not. Haiiiiiz. Stress + Menses + Horrific cramps = a not very happy Jesslyn

Oh. And guess what. I have been staying in hall since 30 October. That sounds so.... last month. Haha! Though actually technically only about 9 days had past. Oh. But I realise how stupid some undergrads can be. -_- Like Clement always says, NTU undergrads study so much yet dunno how to live properly. Hah! He graduate liao so he feels like he can scorn at them. -_-

But...really de lor!!!! Some idiot, actually use the microwave to cook Green Bean Soup. It's okay, actually, BUT! That idiot doesn't know how to cover the bowl and then left the microwave on at HIGH for like 20 mins!!!! And then so the green beans became split beans and then it spilled onto the microwave dish. And I seriously wonder what's left of the Green Bean Soup man. Got stove lor...should have just used it. Where got people use microwave to cook green bean soup de?

Nevermind. That's not the worse.

Next, some bo-bo (read: himbo/bimbo) decided to have instant noodles at 2AM in the morning with EGG. So happily, poured water on the bowl, put the instant noodles in, the seasoning and garnishing, and then the EGG. Left it in the microwave for goodness-knows-how-many-minutes. He came back, and saw that....
1) The soup has spilt onto the microwave dish...
2) There was egg-white everywhere inside the microwave.
3) There were egg-shells!!!!!!!

Can you imagine how stupid this seems?! Probably that above-mentioned person wanted Hard-Boiled Egg and so decided to cook it with the noodle. But hey...we have a hot-water dispenser here okies. Just pour water into a cup and then soak the egg inside lar. Confirm got hard-boiled egg de mah.

I can't believe I am living in the same hall as this people. Sheesh~

And these people didn't even bother have the courtesy to clean-up. The 2nd scenario was the worst. The egg was damn smelly okies. Until someone just shut the microwave door and left the smell inside. So the smelly egg was in there for the whole night lor. Haha~

Then the next day, the hot-water dispensable was down, and this girl was trying to cook her cup-noodles...opened the microwave and found to her horror that it's too smelly for words. I pity her.

Oh. And there were other stuffs that happened. Yet another silly undergrad-with-mush-for-brains story. LoL.

My roomie kenna-ed because she went to bathe earlier than me. Some bimbo loved her lotions and then even wished to share it with the toilet. That's right, she actually spilled a pool of her lotion onto the toilet floor, making it damn slippery. Nevermind.

The best part is, she probably planned to kill someone in the meanwhile.

That pool of lotion was just right in front of the entrance lor. It's the kind whereby your 1st step into the toilet sure step on it. And if you were unlucky, you will probably open the door, step onto the pool, fall down, hit your head on the kerb (since the toilet floor is lower) and then have the doow swing back at you at the same time.

Great way to kill your enemies man. If they never knew what's in store for them. My calculations show that if you don't die, you will have
1) A concussion
2) Sprained ankle/leg
3) Sprained wrist/elbow/arm
4) Painful butt.

Luckily my roomie was alert enough. She was still holding onto the door and still had 1 foot outside the toilet. So she regained her balance and none of the above happened to her.

But she was damn angry...and then wrote a HUGE notice on the door to warn everyone.

Added... someone spilt a pool of soap (and didn't even bother to clean up).

Haha~ Probably the girl concerned felt guilty enough to clean it up later. BUT. The whole floor was still damn slippery. And since everyone could not avoid stepping on the soap at all, the area of the toilet became damn slippery too. Sheesh~ That night we were all trying to perfect our balancing acts lor. Haha.

So eventful huh...throughout my 9 days of continuous stay in school. First time I stayed so long ever since this semester started. Because I had 4-day week, so I go home every Thursday de. And I never stay in during the weekends lor. Heh~

But tomorrow I must go home. Sick of school and all the canteen food. I want some home-cooked food that I might enjoy. Hmm... I have no idea. Even when Clement comes and brings me out for dinner...I dunno what to eat liao. I mean, all canteen food is all the normal one lor, like Chicken Rice, Noodles, Vege+Rice, Jap-food, Western-food...er...still got what else...oh, and the normal chi-cha. Outside kopi-tiam sells exactly the same thing, albeit a little more expensive. Bleah. I had been living on Can 2 and Can 9 for dunno how long, and of course, an occassional Can A food. 3 Canteens of food to choose from and I am sick of it all.

Went extension to makan too, but then, too long a walk for me liao. Haha~ So I only went once so far. Had chili-vension-rice. Damn nice okies. Heh. Been eating it ever since my senior brought me there one evening for dinner. Hee. A taste of heaven outside school lar. :-)

Oh. And I would like to ask for opinions regarding on ROM and getting flats. Haha. I am not getting married lar. Just wondering. LoL. Scenario goes like this:
If you and your husband-to-be have decided to marry, will you ROM, then register for a flat, or register for a flat, get the flat already, the ROM? (HDB has this policy whereby a couple can register for a flat first, and they only need to ROM within 3 months after getting the keys to the flat lor. )

I asked Clement about it and he thinks should ROM liao then register for flat. If not, get flat liao then ROM is like marrying for the sake of the flat. -_-

But hor, you register for a flat, you need to give it another 3-4 years for it to be built de mah, considering it's a new flat. That means if ROM first, then 3-4 years later then customary? Isn't it like, so late? Personally I think customary and ROM the dates must not be too far apart...maximum probably 2 years...if not, marry = not married like that. Haha~

And hor, I don't think I would want to live with his parents lor. I think I prefer to have my own space. Haha~ :-P

Leave me your comments yah? (That is, if you read until so far.) :-D

Last but not least, an eye-candy for you!!!

Monkey Goes To Sentosa
Monkey went sun-tanning with me! Haha~ Nice mats/waterbottle/slipper hor? :-p
Cheers~
