The Attachment

This is Mogu, my little egg-cushion. :) Another collection to the bo liao things that mr clement bought for me lar! He has one too...except that it's a human figurine. I like this because it has this cheesy look on the face. lol~

It's been some time since I last posted! Lacking of photos in my blog, I think. So today, since I am not going out and staying home the whole day, I shall spend some time updating everything! Yay...

But I have quite a number of stuffs to write about...hmm...dunno how, so I think I will just write and upload and write till I tire out okies. Heh~

My supervisor called me the day before!! All the way from US, Pittsburg! So sweet of him...called to ask me how am I doing and how am I coping at work without him around. And also asked if I am facing any problems now that he is not there. So nice right? I won't expect my supervisor to call lor, because he is supervisor mah. Anyway we can always keep in contact via email...I did email him once or twice like this lar...about work stuffs.

Besides work stuffs, he also sent photos/movies of the place he's currently at now. In US it's like snowing very heavily, so he had lots of movies/photos of snow lar. He has been emailing some of it to us (attachment students) to let us see lor. And he also wrote our names on snow and took photos of it for us! So sweet of him yah. :)

Okay lar, before I gush anymore about my sup..he is already married lar! Happily married with 2 kids and a very pretty wife! And he often shows us the photos of his family, and I think he's just a very lucky man! Anyway at work, he is just a very nice guy, and very humble. He said to me before on my 1st week of attachment, "whatever I have learnt in 10 years working here, I will teach you, and your purpose of coming here is to learn things that cannot be taught in school. If I teach you things that you already learnt before, then you are just wasting your time here." I find him quite inspirational, because of what he said, and also that he's a very motivated person. Best of all, he is very humble and easy to get along with, unlike some of the other engineers in my company who treat attachment students like their own PA (personal assistants), making them do mundane stuffs and criticizing everything they had done. Luckily my sup is not such a person! At least when he tells us to do something, he will tell us why we need to do it, and what role does it play in the project. At least we know what we are doing rather than just following instructions blindly yah?

Guess I am just so lucky to have a nice sup. Haha. Actually 3 of us are lucky. Hehe~ To think I was fretting so much about not being able to get a company I want for the attachment. (I only got a company in the 3rd round ya know...) In some sense maybe it is fate bah. Hahaha.

Yup...and also, my tutor from school is also a nice guy! LoL~ We were quite apprehensive prior to meeting him because we don't really know what kind of person he is. And from what we heard of other tutors (my friends are under him), it seems like they will ask a lot of technical questions and things that we never know and whereby everyone just stands there dumbfounded. Hmmm...but hey! Our tutor isn't like that. He's quite a friendly guy, and was telling us that attchment must learn things that we never encounted in school (quite similar to my sup too). And not only that, he was saying that if we encountered any problem, we have to inform him, so that he knows what he is going on. Other than that, when he looked through our log books, he didn't ask many questions lar. Only what we have learnt and all lor. Good eh...

It's a relief! At least my attachment stuffs are more or less ok le. No need to worry too much yah. :)
