Brand new year!!
Brand new day!!
Brand new me. Hahaha. Almost, anyway.
Spent the NYE with my pri, sec, JC, uni friend! We caught up with each other over calamari rings, wedges and drinks earlier in the evening, went shopping later, and then went to the countdown party at night!
My first official countdown party okie!! LoL~~
All my previous countdowns were spent at home. =p
And it was the first time I'm with my friend for countdown! (Although we have known each other for...say, 10 years? Haha. (Oh my god that sounds so long!!)
But very wasted, because there was so much fireworks and I didn't have my camera with me, so no clips, no photos. =( So sad eh...but all the same, it was enjoyable viewing the fireworks!
But I had a hard time hailing a cab after that to go home though. All cabs on-call ok!! So I also called a cab for myself. Hahaha. First time booking cab okie!! Very suaku lor. Anyway I think the cab drivers all purposely one!! I call cab already, 3 minutes later my cab appear. Like so fast. Must be they wait until got people call them then they appear. (The queue was horrendously long at the taxi stand, with no cabs in sight.)
And so, it was a night of firsts. =)
Okie, so new year must have resolutions right? Haha. Oh, maybe not resolutions. I call them my life goals. Keke.
On me, my life, my well-being:
I must be more charitable. I will donate money to the cans on every Saturday.
But. I will not buy those tix leh...
I will be a better person. I will learn to love myself more and spend more me-time.
I will forget all my past grievances. I will be less vengeful and will try my best to forgive people who piss me off.
I will endeavour to ensure I have properly painted toe nails at all times.
I will endeavour to put minimum makeup whenever I step out of the house. I must look good. At. All. Times.
I will style my hair before I step out of the house. I will not let the baby hair fly around like an extra halo on my head.
I will wear clothes that flatter me (whether I'm fat or not).
I will book a facial once a month. I will not procastinate booking my facials.
I will do my mask faithfully. The days to do shall be Wednesdays and Sundays. I must set time aside for it.
I will follow my nightly regime strictly. I must put eye cream and night cream in addition to the normal skin regime. I will use my body lotion and hand cream faithfully.
I will make sure I have 8 hours of sleep everyday.
I will pack my room before Chinese New Year 2006. Heeheehee.
On friends and relationships:
I will be more proactive in jio-ing friends out.
I will try to participate in activities organised by my bro.
I will have lunch with my bros at least twice a week.
I will be less anal about my relationship and focus more on things that matter.
I will stop expecting clement to live up to my expectations for him.
I will learn to have faith, love and trust in him and our future.
Okie! So much for my life goals. Very long-winded, but very essential. =)
May 2006 be a better for me, and everyone else!!
