Went to the Gang's gathering last evening...must say I had a great time! It's nice to meet up with the bros and chit-chat, talk cock, and then suan each other. Good time for honing the suan-ing skills, I must say. :p
Anyway, it was one of the rose's birthday! Among the thorns (bros), only got 3 roses. Haha. Gfs are not counted. Heehee. Again I am the one in charge of buying her birthday present! And it's a bad idea because I had no one to go with me this time...so on Wednesday, when it was wet and dreary, I went Far East Plaza to shop for her pressie...seeking inspiration.
Can I complain that FEP doesn't have POSB atms anymore? And also UOB at that. So frustrating!! Luckily most of the shops in FEP are nice...they accept NETs with purchase of at least 5 bucks. Thank goodness. I didn't wanna run all the way to Scotts to draw money and then run back to FEP anyways.
Okie so I went to FEP on my own to look for stuffs. And that was my downfall! Why? Because everything I bought I like a lot lar!! Haha. In the end on top of buying 2 necklaces and 1 pair of earrings for my dear friend, I bought another 2 pairs of earrings for myself. I buy so much until the sales girl gave me a pair of earrings for free lor. So now I have 3 pairs of earrings!!
Can faint liao. Haha. I think it's a major incident because I never spent so much on earrings before. LoL~ And I never spent so much on earrings on myself!!! Actually I think I am quite giam siap when it comes to buying things for myself. Haha. Imagine the horrors.
And now I know. I should never, ever, go shopping alone! Wah lau...if I shop with my friend I will be more restrained. Haha. Dunno why, it's probably the rule of the opposites. If she spent money, I will be less inclined to spend. And vice versa I think. Heehee.
And so I gave my friend her necklace and the earrings! And she liked it a lot! Haha. I was telling her I also like the things I gave her...wanted to buy somemore but then I had no more cash already (that shop is one of those that do not have a NETs machine lor!). Anyway no cash is good, once I spent that last dollar note from my wallet, I went home straight because I couldn't possibly shop anymore. What if I see something I like but cannot buy?! Then it will spoil my evening liao...
So much for my shopping incidents. Hahaha.
Anyway we went to that hawker centre beside Esplanade to makan yesterday! Well, it was a rainy day again (nowadays seldom see the sun leh), and so there wasn't many people. Oh well. But the food there wasn't that spectacular lar! Everything tastes normal, like what you can get from the hawker centres elsewhere. Given the spectacular prices we paid, simply not worth it at all!
Totally not a good deal lar...
And we were all chatting about going cheong again. Hahaha. Then my bro start asking me when am I ever going to introduce girls to him. LoL~ I also dunno leh. How come all my guy friends are asking me to intro girls to them huh... buay tahan. If purposely intro, then sure paiseh one leh. LoL~ But all are newly single leh. That's a danger. Hahaha.
And hor, I think my bro very sweet lar! He bought himself a handphone. And then since his gf's hp also quite old liao, he bought her one too! So now they both have matching handphones. K750i. 2 for 800 bucks. Is it cheap or not? According to him it's some starhub promo thingy? Haha. I also not very sure lar. But I think my bro very sweet to her wor. Haha. But then again, he's so rich. Always winning competitions left and right. Sure got money to pamper his gf. LoL!!
Wah if I wanna name all the stuffs he did for his gf, can name until tomorrow lar! Haha. Oooh...but I can't wait for them to get married! Heeehee~ I wanna be his gf's jie mei and torture my bro!!! Wahaha!! I have lots of evil ideas liao eh!!!
I already told my friend that next time she get married, I shall be her jie mei and torture her future husband during their wedding day! LoL~ And she complain that she haven't even found a bf how to get married. Haha. Time will come lar!! Soon!! :p
This year is a good year for pigs! Lots of tao hua yun! So most of us pigs will have lots of admirers lar!! Heeheehee~
