Or to say, belated V-day!! Haha. :p
And, happy Valentine's Day to me!! Though the day doesn't feel very valentine-ish at all lar...
Lemme see...woke up at 9.30am, realised that I have no lecture notes, promptly went back to sleep again...woke up at 10.30am, felt damn guilty, decided to go to school for another lecture. Hahaha.
Later went for design lab session, stoned for 2 hours before I called it quits and headed to canteen to eat. Dunno is it lunch or dinner...but I ate cai fan with many cai and fan. And my groupmate was like "later you still can eat dinner meh?" I can. Hahaha. My tummy has enormous flexibility. lol~~
So fast-forward...end of design lab session, group members still despairing over subnetting...I stayed on to despair with them lor. Hahaha. But 1-by-1 going out with gfs liao...so in the end we settle the subnet...and so I went over to town to meet the bf.
Orchard full of couples ah, flowers and all...haha. Remembered having this conversation with a friend while studying some time back...I asked him why he bothered buying flowers for his gf on V-day...he just told me, "Because it's V-day. You rather receive flowers on V-day or other day?" I had no answer then. Come to think of it, I think flowers is a must for V-day because most people have got the "other people have, I also must have" mentality...so of course if the bf gives the gf flowers on V-day..well, it makes her happy? LoL~~~
And I think if you carry flowers on V-day and walk around is less embarrassing lor. Coz everyone else also doing the same!
Suddenly remembered clement gave me flowers on my 1st birthday we celebrated together...I was so paiseh carrying the flowers...I gave it to him...later on we went shopping and I even asked for a big plastic bag to put the flowers in. Hahaha. So crappy.
After that the flowers died. I felt so sad. Like my 1st birthday pressie from my bf just died. -_- So I told clement never to give me flowers again lar. Haha.
Anyway! Met clement at orchard, then we wanted to eat at Ramen Ten at Far East Plaza. That was what I wanted. And then on our way there we got stopped by this lady giving us Ajisen Ramen coupons. So we both decided to be cheapo and use the coupons. Hahaha. Our dinner like that settle le lor.
Never go reserve table never go plan. The only plan was we meet in orchard that day. Hahaha.
Well, if the mood is right, everyday also can be valentine's day. Now I truly understood the meaning. :p After all our misunderstandings and hurt and whatsoever and the resolving of issues, seems that we are finally progressing on. LoL~ Sounds cheesy but it feels this way now. I'm glad.
Oh! And we went to watch our very first fireworks together on Saturday. Best of all, we were having arguments for the whole evening. So he not happy, I not happy. Then we not happy and even managed to walked all the way from Marina Square to Esplanade Waterfront to watch fireworks. And since we not happy, the 2 of us just stood there like stone statues like that. He looking ahead. I look at the floor. -_-
Then suddenly fireworks started...I looked up. He looked down and pulled me close. And he had one hand on my shoulder the other hand on the camera while taking the videos. Fireworks really very very nice!!! Too bad if you missed it. Hahaha.
When the fireworks ended, he kissed my forehead and said he'll always love me.
That's it. Our argument resolved. wahahaha. So we no longer angry at each other already. And we managed to talk things through again. Lol~
Sometimes, I think communication with that other half is an art man! Sometimes you just say the wrong things, sometimes you just need to have a proper environment to say things. Sometimes the best way is simply not say anything at all. :)
I'm still learning. Haha.
Anyway, the camera didn't managed to catch fireworks in the end, because, after clement off the cam, the camera showed "card error". So no fireworks on record.
But still, it's also good...erased the bad memories of watching our 1st fireworks together. Haha. Sometimes, things just happen for a reason huh!
Okie. I side-tracked. Actually I wanted to blog today because I wanted to blog about my health screening. LoL~ I very happy because I have been given a clean bill of health!! No problems with blood pressure, urine, blood. Haha. And my cholestrol is healthy! Yay. :p My body fat is around 28%, quite high I think. So not so good. But they took my height and weight and that's the reason to cheer about! Almost. See, I am just 1kg more than what I used to weigh in JC/Sec Sch. So happy. Before that I was at least 2kg more. After I met clement, I became 4kg more.
It's been a tough struggle to get my weight down since. But okay lar, I did try to exercise more often, I did try to eat a bit lesser. LoL~ Eh I think my "too lazy to get food" attitude kinda works. Although I can't say it's healthy. Hahaha.
Ok but since body fat is kinda high, have to work on it. Time to really exercise!! LoL~
By the way, the lady say I got very nice abs! Hahaha. Like so funny because right below the abs got a layer of tummy fat already lor!!! Buay tahan. And the abs is like "now you see it, now you don't!"
Oh man. 28% fats means 28% of me must be wobbling here and there. Horrible image to think about.
Ah! And after the whole screening still got hand spa!! Haha. The lady massaged my fingers, then dipped my whole hand into the wax. And after that just wrapped my hand in plastic to let the wax cool. So fun!! Suaku me first time try this kind of thing. So very exciting. Haha.
And the lady who did my hand said I look very young! Ask me whether I reach 21 already or not. hahaha. I wonder if she is for real. If she is, I very happy lar!! My attempts to look young has succeeded! Lol~~~
So after the whole thing ended liao, went for talk. It's for 3rd year peoples, but I went coz of my FYP. But very good ah, got a lot of freebies. Some of the souvenirs are very innovative! Like this little girl magnet. Next time I take pic then put bah... :p
Okie. I very long-winded I think. :p Time to take a break.
