Long Long Post!

4 People you will Meet in your Lifetime

My friend (the Prez) say I never include him in the 3 people you will meet in your lifetime. So I decided he shall be the 4th person!! And what is this 4th person? Haha. He/She is someone who's very important in the course of study...and he/she changes at every stage of your studying life...haha...sometimes he/she will be helpful, sometimes he/she will not be so helpful lor... But!! My friend (the Prez) is very helpful lar!! Haha.

Easy to guess...he/she is the study mate! Hehe~ First had a study mate way back in Secondary school...we always go to the then-World Trade Centre to study...either at Mac's or at WaffleTown...I liked!!! And it was great because after a day of studying, at night we would go to the sea side to blow sea breeze and chit-chat. Like such a great reward!! Haha.

And in JC I think I had a few study mates....but the most consistent one is my pri-sec-JC-colleague-Uni friend. Very long hor? LoL~ Yup...anyway we spent countless days at Delifrance @ Anchorpoint studying together. Oh. One thing I liked about Delifrance...they never, ever chase you away. Sometimes when studying at fast-food outlets or something, those cleaners are inclined to chase you away because they feel you are taking up space. But never once in Delifrance. I think I was an avid supporter of Delifrance man!! Haha.

And now in Uni...well, I had different groups. Haha. In first year I had my bros, 2nd year I still stucked with one of them (coz we both stay in the same hall and it's easy to run off to reading room once in a while!), 3rd year I was largely on my own (is clement counted? Haha)...but 4th year I had the Prez!! Hahaha. (Eh! I mentioned you at last! Happy or not. :p) The Prez is a great studying partner...because he gave me crash-course in almost every module we took. Hahaha. Even this particular horrid module which spells repel repel repel everytime I looked at it, he actually went through the lecture notes, made me understand, went through all tutorials until I understood!!! Wah, I think I wouldn't have passed this module if not for him. Hehehe.

We are gonna repeat the feat this sem. Haha. Hopefully I get to teach him stuffs instead of him always teaching me. Hahaha. :p And our fave place of study? Mac @ West Coast Park. Hehehe. I think we sat there for more than 12 hours once...9 or 10AM in the morning till 10pm at night. I thought I grew roots on the seats already. But we went Fong Seng to makan after that!! Haha. Luckily.

Haha. So there you go. My (revised) list of 4 people (or is it more) you will meet in your life time! Hehehe.

My Weekend 17-19 Feb

Quite a great one!! Haha. Clement came over to stay for the weekend. And we had the whole house to ourselves so it was very shiok. Hahaha. Went to fix up a new computer for him on Friday, after that we went to my place, enroute to JE for some drinks and food. Haha. We were damn tired (he had to work and I had 8.30AM lecture THAT morning) so went bed early lor. Haha.

And on Saturday we had plans to go town, but since it was raining heavily, so we stayed in, went to the hawker centre opposite for brunch, and I helped him dye his hair!! Wahaha!! My virgin attempt at DIY hair dye. Haha. And it's on poor clement's hair because the end result? Very uneven lor. hahaha. Only the top part of the head was brown....the rest was half-there, half not there. And he kept trying to convince himself there's something there. LoL~ Kept tilting his head left and right under the sunlight. Oh, maybe the sides do have some...but the top of his head was most brown de lar. Haha.

After that I felt guilty enough to do my FYP. Hiak hiak. Coz main reason I stayed for the weekend was because I wanted to do some FYP too. Time is a bit tight ah!!! So while I did my FYP clement munch stuffs and read newspapers lor. Reading about Budget 2006!! Btw, I just found out I'm entitled to 800 bucks (I think)!! And clement's only entitled to 400 bucks!! Haha. Oh but I am unemployed so I may not get that 800 bucks. But it's still nice to dream!! Haha.

And after my ardous FYP thingy...we went out for dinner!! Haha. Took my daddy's car out so it will be more convenient...wanted to eat chili rice (one of my craves!), go IMM (HK Shop!!) or go Ginza for KFC. In the end we settled for KFC, since we were lazy to go too far and I still had tons of stuffs to do. Damn exciting ok!! After our meal on our way back we saw that carpark auntie issuing summons liao...so we both kan cheong to see whether my dad's car got summoned or not. If kena then very ma fan lor...have to explain. Haha.

Luckily never! Our coupon expired already. Haha. So quickly drove back home. Hehe~

So I went home, did some ironing while clement surf net on my lappie. And we watched Kate & Leopold on Ch. 5. Romantic comedy mah!! Very suitable although the conditions weren't very romantic lor. Haha. But all the same it's nice to be around each other while doing our own stuffs. And I showed clement some of the forums for weddings and such online. So while I did my ironing he was ring-shopping online liao lor. LoL~ And he exclaimed that we girls are ridiculous judging by the way how some of the girls can dissect a rock (in this case, a diamond) into so many ways. And after that he said, "eh, I think all the girls on the forum very rich leh. Wah kao! Everyone going for 8k, 9k ring."

I agree! LoL~ But told him that doesn't mean he can get away with a 2k ring hor. Wahaha. :p Anyway we both like this ring from Georg Jensen called "fusion", wah...I think he already had ideas to custom-made the ring already. LoL~ Die die also want it to be wedding band. So he said tomorrow (that's sunday) we shall go and take a look. If nice, can have a similar one made elsewhere. And after that he say all the other wedding bands dun look so good liao. -_-

Wah liew...I think he having fun bio-ing all the rings sia. Eh but I think I prefer Goldheart's wedding bands. LoL~ Plus comes with a free ring pillow mah!! Haha. Good eh. No need to headache over that. Hiak hiak.

I think we continued to bio all the rings till we fell asleep. Haha. So Sunday we woke up...went IMM for breakfast (Burger King!! My fave. :p) and then went to pick my family up after that. So after doing our duty, we went out together! Haha. I think that day was ring-shopping day because, we went ring shopping but bought nothing lor. And clement really dragged me into that Georg Jensen boutique (think high class in the league of those very expensive boutiques). He wanted to bio his Fusion ring. haha. Cannot take it leh!!! And he was wearing shirt and 3-quarts and slippers. While I wore jeans and a simple spag stripe top and slippers. Like so no-class to step into a high-class shop.

But okay lar. The sales person very nice...still took out all their fusion rings...got diamonds somemore!! OMG! Haha. But one ring is so ex!! So I just tried it on, bio it for a while and gave it back to her. All these while clement was chit-chatting with her lor. :) So after finished bio-ing we went off liao!! Haha. Clement had a "rush" and even suggested we step into Tiffany & Co. Oh but then he got cold feet when we stood outside. Coz inside looks so classy and we were too casual for words.

The Fusion that clement fell in love with.

This is the one I tried!! *diamonds*

In the end we decided to save ourselves the embarrassment. Hahaha. Anyways, later on we decided that Sunday shall be our ring-shopping day (last wk was show-flat day! Hahaha). We went to Goldheart because we contemplated the rest and decided that we both not so "gian". Anyway this lady served us in the shop...and she asked "when is the big day?" Wah...luckily I never say "haven't propose!" hahaha. :p We told her haven't decided so she say if we intend to get it, must do it at least 2 months before so that got enough time for engraving or resizing whatsoever.

So nice of her. :) Got a unique type of wedding band! With magnetic quality one. Haha. So the 2 wedding bands can attract each other lor. The designs quite nice deshou...but since we were looking for PT rather than white gold, so too bad lor. And then she told us can make it into PT for us...we can just choose the design. But the price will be at least 2x or 3x!! Like so ex...hahaha.

Eh...so we had a fun time trying out all the different wedding bands we like...so now got a better idea what we wanna look for if we do shop seriously lor. Haha. And we had a long chat on our way to City Hall, about our "wedding" and the house and the rings.

We wanna do something different from the typical wedding banquet stuff. haha. Yup yup...so no wedding dinner for us! Still wondering whether should have that torture-the-groom ritual too. Hahaha. And I told him we must go for honeymoon right after our wedding. Haha. So have to save a lot of $$ first. Hahaha.

I joked that we should save for 7 years before we get married lar...so by then we have enough money and money won't be an issue between us anymore. LoL~~~ He got the incredulous look on his face liao lor...so funny. So maybe not 7 years lor. If not the quality of sperm and egg no good!!! Wahahaha!!!!

Yuppers...anyway we went to play arcarde after bioing all the rings. Haha. Our fave past time nowadays everytime we go out is to play Virtua Cop 3...and we always die sia...haha. Damn crap! But we haven't watch a movie in ages!!

So that's my weekend!! A rather fulfilling one I must say. Heehee~~~
