Many Things

The past week was probably one of the toughest I had ever been through...

But! I got through it. :)

I met some awe-inspring people.

I finally sort out my thoughts.

I am starting to look at things in a different perspective.

And I'm finally out of that shell.

~*~*~*~*~*~

So what's been going on this past week???

I did something I never thought I will do...I went for a BW. Wahaha.
o4o62006 ok.

I will never forget this date.

It was very funny, because I decided on a spur of moment I will do it. Called clement and told him I wanted to do it...he said ok go ahead. So I made an appointment for the same day...and then it was a day of trepidation and excitement.

I think it's really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The girl told me to come back...I think I will think 1000x before I do. But it was, indeed, amazing after the whole thing was over.

Because I got through it!! Heh.

Next.

Got my results. Puke puke puke.

Then it was a frenzy....a mess...whatever shit. I literally felt like I was wading in shit.

Didn't help that clement wasn't around...in fact no one was around...my parents went on their cruise, my sis went chalet...I was all all alone...

Helpless and madness...that's all I could think of.

But of course when you are at the bottom of that pit, things have to look up right?

And so I did...I began to look up...and suddenly the helplessness is no longer there.

And I didn't feel so ridiculously mad after all.

Spoke to a few people...they put things into perspective.

And I realise that sometimes in life, things just do not go the way you want it to.

And I realise that sometimes in life, you need to just bite hard and then keep going.

~*~*~*~*~

Surprisingly I still had the courage and the mood to go for interview ok.....

And surprisingly the interview was not so much an interview, it was a series of interactive activities.

And it was really fun~!

I liked the fact that my team worked well together.

Wootz~!

After this there will be other rounds of interviews.

It wasn't so much the interview...at the end the appraiser shared some really inspiring stuff.

And that hit the nail in the head with regards to what I want to do with my situation.

I am really glad I did go for that at the end. (Not to mention that morning was raining super heavily that morning and both clement and I just wanted to sleep the whole day away. Wahaha.)

~*~*~*~*~

I just feel bad for disappointing my parents...relatives....

They have been really nice about it...not mentioning anything to me.

I am grateful. :)

~*~*~*~*~

Been eating good food~! Haha. Clement stayed over...and we took my daddy's car to drive around SG...on the pretext of warming up the car. Ho ho ho.

Oh! Clement drove me to interview that morning too. And stayed on to wait till I'm done. So we ended up at Crawford Lane to eat the yummy Bak Chor Mee.

Well, it was featured on TV before...makan places lost and found....any food that gets featured on TV shouldn't be too bad right? So we went to try it lor~!

The queue was long long long (or you might want nong nong nong... :p)...clement queued for 30 minutes before we finally got our noodles. 1 carpark coupon gone!!!

Wah liew. Haha. Here's a pic of that marvellicious Bak Chor Mee...

Famous Bak Chor Mee

It looks like any normal bak chor mee right? But the difference is in the taste!!
Although I am usually quite chin chye with my food (ie. I will eat as long as it tastes ok), but this one is really...wahhh.
The noodles cooked just nice, the pig's liver(I usually hate that!) was soft and nice to eat. Usually the bak chor mee I will just throw out the liver because it's either too hard, too disgusting...whatever...but this one is just nice. Lol~

And the stock (whatever you call...soup base?) tastes really good...the soup is the evidence. Of course, like the chef says...their recipe is secret. You eat can already, don't ask so much ok.

Hahaha.

Clement, the picky eater...and the fanatic bak chor mee eater, also thinks very highly of this bak chor mee.

So must be darn good for him to praise lor!!! Ho ho.... :) And it ain't cheap...S$4 okie!!!

~*~*~*~*~

Actually the night before clement and I also went chinatown food street (something akin to the one at the Esplanade)...I had my first taste of Kolo Mee.

Very very nice deshou! The noodles is like instant noodles...very curvy one...but it's not instant noodles lor...

And the ingredients...
1. A LOT of Bak Chor (salty salty one...but very nice!)
2. A LOT of Veggies
3. A LOT of char siew
4. 3 Big prawns
5. 3 dumplings

A lot of ingredients for a bowl of noodles, I must say. And it costs a whopping S$5.90!!!

I can't believe clement actually didn't mind paying for that. I was expecting something along the lines of $3.50? or $4.00? And never almost 6 bucks. Haha.

After I finished this and found out the price...I was totally in shocked. Hahaha. 6 bucks for hawker food! And I finished it all lor!!!

But then it's really very very nice!! Craving for it as I'm blogging now. Ho ho. Wah. But this kind of food really eat once in a while. :)

I had peanut glutinous balls (Ah-Ball-Ling) as dessert later on. Haha. Happy happy. :)

~*~*~*~*~

Clement brought me to the airport later in the night too. We wanted to eat Rex's Satay (another of those featured on TV)...but then! No Satay to eat because all sold out.

So in the end I settled for gado-gado.

I never knew what was that until clement bought it on the pretext of sharing it.

But alas. I had no other food because all the things I want to eat are either not available, or else sold out. -_-!!

So I tasted that...and then proceeded to finish it up leaving clement very little chance to coup from me. Haha.

No photos...because Jesslyn was super hungry and ravenous already. Where got time to take out camera!!! Hahaha.

We went for kopi at Starbucks later on. And we saw Starbucks potato chips!! Haha. Clement the potato chip lover of course cannot forgo it. It costs a whopping $2.50...for a regular-sized packet.

Nevertheless, I took this photo of the airport!! It's been renovated and it looks different now...

Singapore Changi Airport T2

Looks quite artistic hor?? Click on it for a larger view. :)

We also bought the makan places book to keep track of all the good food around Singapore...we intend to try to go and eat them all!!! Heh~!

~*~*~*~*~

Oh! And I made clement iron my clothes...wahahaha. Darn funny. Because I was too tired and feeling horrid and thinking that I had no clothes to wear for interview...sian sian sian....So in the end clement volunteered...and apart from my interview clothes, I made him iron my pile of need-to-iron clothes too. Hohoho.

But at the same time I couldn't stand the way he was ironing so I kept butting in. Haha.

Dunno which is worse. :)

He also helped me change bedsheets!! Heehee.

I am domesticating him sia. lol~!

Luckily he never complain.

~*~*~*~*~

Sometimes I wonder how he can tahan me, when I know I can't tahan myself.

I like to rule him...make him do whatever I want him to.

And I like to complain to him that he never do things that other girls' bfs do for them.

And then I like to tickle him whenever I feel like it, and prevent him from stopping me, just so that I can torture him with my tickles. Heh heh.

And when he drives I like to make a lot of noise...I'm like the worse passenger a person can have...because I will make 10000 comments. hahaha.

I will complain he drive too fast, drive too slow, drive too dangerously, curse too much, never signal, his temper so bad, why he never horn people (who almost caused danger to us)...the list goes on. Haha.

Most of the time he just go orrrrh.....but he will try to do whatever I complain about, except for the cursing part...wah I can never understand why must so hot tempered leh.

I think that's why they say you never learn to curse until you start driving. Haha.

But actually most of the time I am complaining about other kuku drivers on the road also...or people...haha. We almost banged down someone because he just started to cross without looking and we were like, inches away from the guy. -_-!!

Somehow, clement has managed to tahan all my nonsense lor. And nowadays, we seldom quarrel liao...I think it has been months since we last had a really bad disagreement. He gives in to me more these days...I am sensing his behavourial change and I'm quite glad about it. :)

But of course I should try to be a better person...I must not take him for granted now...if not everything will be lost.

~*~*~*~*~*~

I think I ought to take up driving, revive my auctions, and learn to analyze all that stocks and shares thingies.

Haha. I shall invest clement's money!!!! Wahahaha~!

And then concentrate on what I really want to do...and what's my selling point.

And read up. Lots of it. On amazing people.

Kose Junkisui Pack

Clement bought this for me after I started breaking out real badly. This is supposed to help calm the skin, and reduce the acne? I dunno leh. But seems like the forums have some pretty good reviews. Haven't gotten down to using it yet. But soon I will!!!

~*~*~*~*~

Oh! I met my IA supervisor...at the most unlikely place....in a Temple. Haha.
Shared some gossips of my IA work place before I left.

Told him a bit of my situation. He told me I'm still young.

But how unexpected to see him again.

~*~*~*~*~

I still have a zillion photos to upload. Hahaha. :) Of the chalet, the 2nd Settler's Session...and erm...M'sia KTV!!! I actually uploaded it but I'm lazy to type a photoblog about it. Haha.

Laters. I need to clear up all the clutter on my table and my life before I can get down to other things.

GE exams on thursday!!!
