Back

Me is back from land of KimChi.

I still wanna go back can!?

Bleah~!

Singapore's weather is so hot sia...I love the kimchi-land weather!

Ooh. Not only land of kimchi...make that the land of The Face Shop, The Skin Food, Misscha and the land of Etude.

I went crazy there and popped into every TFS, TSF I found. Hahaha. I only never go Misscha lor.

Everything is so cheap there that I just want to buy the whole shop!!!!!
Not to mention my 1000, 2000 won earrings. Haha.

Oh my god I bought like 9 pairs!!! And then I bought 2 necklaces. Hahaha. I bought so little hor, because I had time-limit on shopping lor!!

If I had my way I would have spent the whole day there just shopping. I don't want to go anywhere else. Everything is sooo cheeeeap!!!!

Cheaper than BKK, FYI.

I found some of those earrings I bought from BKK last year...and behind the board I saw "Made in Korea". It costs 130 baht (S$6) ok.

And for the same pattern of earrings (chandelier, crystal-kind), it costs like 2000 won.

Which is like S$3.20!!!!!!!

So I bought EVEN MORE earrings than I did for my BKK trip. And all are so pretty!!!

Now it comes down to where the heck I am going to wear them to? Dunno leh. I bought because I like!

I so want to go back to Korea now!!!
I want to buy more masks from TFS and TSF.
I want to buy makeup from Etude.
I want to buy more 2000 won earrings!!
I want to buy 10000 won bags!!!

Been watching Winter Sonata ever since I got back. Now I can better appreciate those places I went. Haha. Like so lame...people go because of the show. And I went without knowing anything (but still we took a lot of pics!) and now I am reminiscing everything.

Only now then I realised that majority of the trip was Winter Sonata stuffs...and also a bit of All In, a bit of Endless Love. Well, the Endless Love one was not included in the itenarary but the guide bought us there because he thought it might be a waste not to since we will pass by it.

Same went for the World Cup Stadium!! Haha. It's the place where people went crazy over football 4 years ago.

Talking about football, I am soooo disappointed Spain didn't get in lar!!! And Brazil also. And then France got in and lost the chance to Italy. Whatever....

Had a good dose of soccer in Korea!! Koreans are football-crazy!! Haha. For the quarter-final, there were not 1, not 2, but 3 channels showing football lor!!!! Wah liew...exact same thing...all broadcast in High-Definition. Singapore? We only have Starhub. And we have to pay to watch it. In Korea it's free lor.

But the commentary is in Korean lar. Hahaha.
But it doesn't make a difference. When the guys get a shot-on-goal, the commentator will go "Shoooooot!!!". Universal language....lol.

Well, the coolest thing is that, their mobile phones can watch TV de lor!!!!

And my guide showed us the football match on his mobile. So sharp and clear somemore!!! All the players' faces can see so clearly...even better than watching on TV sia. Hahaha.

I am certainly very impressed!!!!

And their public phones can do video call one lor. So futurisitc...reminds me of 1 movie that I watched...hmm....what is that...the one with the clones and all that.

Aiya but I am so duper impressed with Korea now. Hahaha.

And their airport is seeking to surpass Singapore's. Well, they are now the largest in Asia, and Singapore is 2nd already.

Oh. And we took Korean Air there....the stewardesses are soooo pretty!!!!

LoL~! Like very pervertish of me but they really really are. Best I have seen so far... :)

And because we had to take internal flight upon reaching Seoul, so that means we took a total of 4 flights with KE.

And for some funny thing, the internal flight airplanes are like, better than the international flight lor.

The seats are better, more cushiony and wider.
And the air stewardesses are actually more chio than the international flight one.

Why huh???

Came to the conclusion that because Koreans are very proud of their country and their heritage, so they reserve the best for themselves!!!

Anyways. I am also very impressed by KE pilots.
On the onward internal flight, we landed in fog. On the returning internal flight, we took off in a thunderstorm.

But on both flights it was very smooth! Especially the way we landed. Had a few bad experiences whereby the airplane hits with a loud thud on the ground and everyone feels thrown forward. So scary. Haha. But for KE, the landing got no feeling one. No thud, no one gets thrown forward. Only the braking motion signalled the that the plane had touched ground lor. Was very surprised...but then I realised it's consistent for all the 4 flights we took with KE. Their pilots are good. Haha.

Oh but I must say taking off in a thunderstorm was really a first-time experience. Haha. I was rather surprised that they proceeded to take off...and I was half worried whether the added rain pelting down on the plane would force the plane down or something. And then for the 1st part of the flight it was a roller-coaster...sometimes it's free fall sometimes it felt like 2 Gs.

So exciting!!

That's why I delayed calling my parents until we reached Seoul again. Haha. Dunno what will happen ma. :)

Oh. Korean girls are all so pretty! Even the aunty who opens a hamburger shop also styles her hair, puts on eyeshadow, the mascara...everything!!

All the girls put on make up when they go anywhere!!! It's hard to spot a girl on the streets with NOTHING on. The lengths they go to look good...I am suitably impressed. Haha.

I feel like a foreigner there . Haha. Just because I don't put on make up. Only concealer... :) Lazy because for the next few days I woke up late and so it's always a mad rush to wash up, pack up and go out.

And I do believe it's important to look good. Haha. No point having the best features in the world but not knowing how to play them up and emphasize them. All those stuffs about natural beauty are crap. Natural beauty is knowing how to put on neutral make up and playing up 1 or 2 features on the face. :)

My computer has chui-ed so it's back to my trusty lappie and my sis hogging MY lappie now. This sucks.

I SO WANT TO MOVE OUT NOW!!!!!
