PT - Round 2

Went for my 2nd training on Saturday (17th March)...with my arms still aching. In fact, they had been aching non-stop since that Wednesday I went!! Geez. So I pasted koyok on my arm and kena laughed at by my PT.

"Eat more protein la!! You paste 10 koyoks also no use one."

I know, but fact is, I don't have much protein-y stuffs lying at home. And all I can think of is tao huay and soyabean drink. Both of which, are inexistent at home. Heee.

Anyway since my arms were aching, so my PT say he will train the legs. And then he start saying "After today's session I make sure you go down the staircase also pain one. That one paste koyok will have no effect."

So baddd!!!

Then we did the leg-press (damn difficult!) and he increased the weight after every set. We did 4 sets of 20 each. Want to die. My maximum was 50kgs. So he said, this one is small thing la! Those expert people can do up to 3 times their body weight. Which means for my case I should be doing 150kg?! Siao ah...

Anyway that was supposed to work the thigh muscles or something.

And then after that we went to do some leg-lifts. As usual he will tell us what muscles we are training and the correct posture, but I wasn't listening. Haha. I too slack already...so kena arrow by him to start doing the machines first. The man got to stand there and rest and gloat. Bleah.

After that we did the bosu stuffs again, this time we must do half-squats on the bosu. It was easier when we had to stand on it and do the half-squat...I think I did like 2 sets of 20, and then he said, "let the dancing begin!" and then proceeded to flip the bosu over (so that the flat part is up and the round part is bottom).

Wah, this one ah, even stepping up is a big problem man. Haha. I cannot believe it. Like so ridiculous because I will have the tendency to fall over. Maybe because I have a fear of falling lo. Haha. Anyway so I finally managed to stand on it, and he wanted me to do the half-squat on the bosu! Wah biang. The bosu start swaying precariously left-right-left-right...like you doing those kind of on-the-spot jogging in a half-squat fashion. LoL. My PT tried to keep my balance but haha, too bad, I very soon fell off. All the while I was just whining non-stop. I think I am hopeless. Hahaha.

Luckily the man did better, so he managed to complete whatever was required of him to do. I was just grinning along. Heehee. And then after that we used 2 bosu, must do half-squats again, then must jump and half-squat (which I didn't do). All these for like 20 times /set and we did like 4 sets again.

Terok man. This time it felt like time just flew...mainly because we took so long to slowly do and then I kept whining at him. Heehee. Like so bad. ;p

So after that session I bathed and then went over to Mind's Cafe to meet my year 1 classmates for some games!!

We tried a few different games which I had been accustomed to at Settler's, so it was cool. Played "I'm the Boss!" which was damn fun because it's about investing and haggling and you learn that sometimes being too nice is no good lo!

After that we played telepath, a paired up game which we are supposed to write words associated with a given word and see how many of them matches. Simple game, but like my friend say, "Got to think! My brain is numb. LoL~" And then after that we played this funny game called Fish eat Fish...basically is just eating up each other's fish lo to see who will win. I won that game!! Yayyy.

And the last game we played was called Thurns and Taxis or something like that. Basically I'm in charge of a postal agency and must open routes for posting of letters or something. Haha. This one is a bit of strategy and all that...quite complicated in fact. But nevertheless it's quite interesting because seldom play games like that. Heh. Similar to Railroad Tycoon but it's a simpler version I might say.

So after that we all split up, and I met the man for dinner, which was Ajisen Ramen, because we both need protein. LoL. I think after Wednesday's session he's more worried about getting aches and pains. Haha.

Rambled around Bugis and I spent like close to a hundred bucks at Watson's. Yes, Watson's. Don't ask me how I do it but sometimes when you see there's so much to buy and it's on offer, you just let yourself lose. Haha.

We went for cuppa after that and then it's back home!!

Sunday, 18th March 2007

We met up again, after the outing with the girls kena cancelled last minute. Haha. He also kena cancelled on because his friend was having power-lunch that lasted like 5 hours or something and so couldn't meet up.

So we found ourselves at IKEA, the Queensway one, for meatballs for dinner, and after that we sorta hung out around IKEA. It's less crowded now, so me wonders if it's because of the enormous IKEA that's opened in Tampines the reason.

Anyway I've been to the one at Tampines, must say that it's much more accessible and spacious, compared to the Queensway one. And of course the restaurant there is exactly the same, just that they have got an interesting feature: A trolley to put your tray on when you buy food. It was the first time I saw something like that, so amazing!! No reason for your guy not to buy your share of food now! Hahaha.

And so we walked around the place, and then, in the search for more protein, decided that we shall venture to somewhere to find nice tao huay. Heh. Oh, we also dropped by Queensway shopping centre to get some exercise gear for myself, but after thinking about it and weighing the pros and cons I decided not to. Not as if I exercise very frequently ya...it's only now because of the PT and then we've got the free membership that's why lo.

As much as I'm very bowled over by the number of taut bodies and nice-looking exercise gear at the gym, I'm still very much relunctant to commit myself because I know I will be very lazy. Haha.

Okie so we went to look for tao huay!! And by the man's recommendation, it's called Rochor Road Soya Bean. Hmm...actually it's near peace centre/paradiz centre that stretch. Near a very nice Hainan Chicken Rice also. Haha. I was quite regretting having IKEA because I didn't know that it's so nearby the Chicken Rice. I love eating chicken rice, the soup and the gravy. Haha. Poor chickens....

So we found the place, and after driving round and round, finally found a carpark. Haha. Heng ah!! Walked a bit and then went to eat tao huay and egg tarts, and after that also bought some home for my mom and sis to try!!

I like egg tarts from there because the tart is a pastry-like crust and I like!! The egg tart itself is not very sweet and the egg is like egg-toufu, very tender. But my mom told me she doesn't like the egg because there's too little taste of the egg. Haha. Oh well. Different people different tastes!

Okie so after that we have to quickly return home since the man's gotta work, and I gotta bring food home.

It's a nice weekend. :)
