Picnic Blog

Another back-dated entry. :)

Clement and I went for a picnic on 12th March 2006. This is what you do when you have grown bored of watching movies, roaming the shopping centers, going off to JB, nuaing at home...

Oh well it was a nice change from the usual mundane stuffs that we do on weekends. Or any other day for that matter.

We went to IMM in the morning (clement came by to pick me up for BK breakfast!!) and so we decided to buy stuffs from Giant there...before proceeding back to his place to make our sandwiches.

That's me at the table seated with all our "tools" for the sandwich. Was in the midst of spreading butter lor...

A closer view of the half-made sandwich. Being our sandwich, we opted not to have tomatoes or any other sandwichy stuffs that most sandwiches have. Haha. Hence it's just plain butter, lettuce, tuna, ham and the bread.

We then wrapped it up in foil and drove downt o Pasir Ris Park for our first-ever picnic. Heh heh.

The tatami mat that clement hunted high and low at home for...and what we sat on lor. We chose a grassy spot because it faces the sea and it wasn't too crowded.

This is the tree which we sat under. It's a coconut tree I think, remembered seeing a few coconuts. Haha. So both clement and me were like, let's hope the coconuts doesn't fall on us!!! lol~

Clement acting cool in his Maui Jim shades. LoL~ I forced him to put on his shades because I was afraid that the strong winds might blow something into his eyes. Must protect his investment ma...

Our finished product!!! Haha. Though I might say it doesn't look very appetising. But it was so nice when we ate it. Maybe because we didn't eat anything else besides the BK breakfast we had that morning. When you are hungry, everything tastes good lor. :p

Us together, full and satisfied. Hahaha.

But I like this one better. :)

Nice picinic!!! Followed by dinner at the Changi Airport. Our sandwiches, although nice, is not enough to fill our stomachs lor. Heehee.

The "Hair" Post

A picture of my hair.....for the makeover wayyyy back in January. Heehee.

So outdated...but nevertheless must post!! Becoz I'm a sucker for nice hairdo that my limited short hair can come up with. :)

It's pretty creative, no? I like the fact that the stylist plaited it despite the literally shortcomings of my hair...haha.

For the Bored People...

Go read this. :)

Hilarious I might say. Heh.

Good reading when you are mugging and feeling somewhat non-motivated.

Oh well, at least for me.

And also, these days I'm hooked onto tabloids. How lame is that.

Things happen, just because there's a reason to be.

Like why am I typing at 1.30am in the night (or morning) when I should be sleeping.

Worst is Over

Yay!

I shall thus proclaim myself as invincible.

lol~~~

Had 5 papers the last 4 days. 4 of the papers back-to-back. I am still alive and kicking!!

Actually by the last day (aka yesterday) I was dying already. Woke up and immediately thought, "Can I not go school today?!" And of course cannot lar. Must go for exams de ma. And so I dragged myself out of bed...had a little breaky and studied my notes on the way to school.

Oh ya. Digressing. On the very 1st day I had my exams (somewhere on a Thursday last week), I had 2 papers on the same day. And although I intended to study on the ride to BoonLay, I fell asleep!!! Horrors!!! Oh well. So I didn't do any last minute studying at all...felt really bad for that.

But I had a darn good sleep on the bus lor!! LoL~~~

Anyway. So I dragged myself to school....and then while walking into the exam hall I was wondering whether I was at the right place (I saw no familiar faces) and wondering whether I got my seat number correct. Feel like I'm suddenly overwhelmed with hall examination venues and seat numbers...always 1. forgot to check it out and 2. wondering if what I checked out is correct.

So I got into the exam hall, and finally saw a few familiar faces. *phew* and since my seat was 1015, I happily walked into the 1000+ column and started to look for my seat.

While walking halfway I began to wonder (again!) whether I got my seat number correct. I was at the 1100+ column and was wondering how come I can't find my seat (like duh~!!). Until my bro called me...then I realised that I was in the wrong column. His is 1047 ma...so it's more likely my seat should be near his. And coincidentally, mine was just beside him!!! First time I am sitting beside people I know in the exam hall lor. Haha.

Well the paper was a blur...it's all tutorial questions. Hahaha. I did a part of it, and after that I was feeling so drained and tired in the midst of doing the paper...I wanted to just fall asleep and concuss there and then. But I turned left and saw that my bro was writing furiously so I got no choice but to start writing furiously like him. Hahahaha.

Anyway after that I felt like my screw loose already. Was thinking of nonsense all day long and trying to stay awake. Surprisingly after I got home I didn't really want to fall asleep lor. My motor overcharged and brain overloaded already leh!!!

But these exams is turning into a scatterbrain of some sorts!!! Had 2 papers on Wednesday again...that was Hall C and Hall D...and I actually told clement that both halls are at the same location. Hahaha. Luckily I checked it out again and realised that they are both at separate areas. Best of all, both are like, at the opposite ends of the campus lar!! Can't imagine if that morning I happily waited outside the hall for my papers...only to reach there and realised there's no Hall C to be found...lol. Will be so darn panicked!!!

Anyway clement had been very supportive!! Gonna love him lots for that. He's been fetching me home after my papers almost everyday, because he knows I need to study for papers the next day. And on my 2-papers-in-a-day day, he took leave from work, bought lunch (a whopper jr, a bag of teh-o so I won't fall asleep!! ) for me so that I can eat straight after my papers while studying, before the paper in the afternoon. And then fetch me to that exam venue which is at the other end of the campus. And during my exam he hung around in school (bioing pretty girls?! Haha!!) till my exams ended...and fetched me home so that I can study for the paper the next day.

My friend commented that clement surpass him lor. LoL~~~ Coz even when he fetched his gf for exams, he will ask her take cab home after her papers rather than hang out around school to wait for her. He thought clement was unblievable nice to stay around in school to wait for me. heehee~

And nowadays clement accompanies me while I studied at Mac's. My sis has been hogging the computer and I had no proper place to study (except my bed?!) so I gotta resort to studying outside. Yikes.

Oh well, but I'm glad it's over at last...my disgusting papers are done with, now I just cross my fingers and toes and hope I pass lor!!!

I even told clement I hope he never have to accompany me while I study again. Hahaha.

But he's been really good about it. Unlike in the past he will look absolutely bored and grumpy and all that. Nowadays he just entertains himself with books/newspapers/mags.

Anyway now I have a week's break to study 3 modules, 1 of which is open-book (yay!) and so in reality it's only 2 modules. Gonna relax a bit, recharge a bit and then proceed to mug again. Haha.

I finally got to read my Cosmopolitan!! Thanks to my exams, I didn't dare to open up any magazine because I am scared I will be hooked onto it. It's so irritating to receive it in the mail and keep telling myself to wait and wait and wait!!

I've got 3 mags...Cosmo, Marie Claire and Cleo...I only finally managed to finished 95% of cosmo...haha. Still got 2 more mags to attack. Maybe I shall attack them while studying this week. Must take a breather ma!!!

Last sem I had Sex and the City and War Craft III to keep me company...but this time round I only got mags...because SATC finished. War Craft III also finished the campaigns already.

Blah~ So I've only got my trusty mags.

Anyway. Enuff of rants. I will philosophize when I'm in the mood. Hahaha.

Wah

Just a short one while I print some stuffs. Hee.

5 papers starting tomorrow afternoon. Yikes.

If I survive this week, I will be invincible.

Yay.

Stuffs I wanna philosophize about. Haha.

Namely:
1) Sleeping Around
2) The One
3) Love

Oh oh. These are the topics that are constantly revolving around my little brain now that exams are here. I always have lots of insights during this period of "down time".

Hehe. I think I will start after the bulk of my exams has ended. (aka this Thursday).

I can't wait for Thursday!! LoL~~~

Oh. I finished 2 papers, 5 papers this week...and 8-day break to the next paper and the 2 more papers.

I have heard people who are in the same situation as me...but they chose to extend another semester.

They didn't want to kill themselves juggling numerous modules + FYP during the semester.

But stubborn me die die also want to overload like siao to complete it in this semester.

And not to mention emailing the school admin here and there to get my electives for the special term. Heh.

Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it. But I think it's even more not worth it if I never try to clear when I know I can. At least I knew I tried.

If all goes well, I get to graduate. If it doesn't, just an extra semester.

Oh. And I can't go BKK liao. My mom told me got some family day event by my dad's company on 17th June. And my special term ends only 16th, not 15th. Time is too tight for me yeah?

Sorry girls, maybe next time bah... :) When I start earning $$ I have more spending power. Hehe.

Will blog on Friday!! =D

My Photos!!

Okie. I have been officially chased out of my tutorial class because it's overwhelmingly filled with people. I can't even carry a chair in to sit. No space!!! It's THAT bad.

Oh well, so now I shall endeavour to blog from my school's computer (seeing that it can access Flickr and blogger with no issue) and post some of my photos. Heehee.

My 2nd Full pedicure!! The 1st one I had done was at Voxy. Why I like pedicures? Because they will scrub my dead skin on the legs and then trim all my cuticles and shape my toe nails nicely. Hahaha. Such a treat. I lurve pedis!! :P

Oh! I pasted on the flower stickers myself! Haha. Trying to be vain ma. Anyway I chose the colour a tad too dark, so paste something pale to neutralise it. Heh heh.

A french manicure I did for myself. Looks nice from afar only. Horrid up close. Haha. I only painted my left hand because my left hand cannot paint my right hand. So for a week I was walking around with one painted hand.

Our 35th Month Together!

This is where we went...Japanese restaurant called Azabu Sabo. No idea what it means. Only that for the rest of the night clement and I were saying "sabo"!!!! LoL~~~ Anyway this is Udon with Crab Meat Omelette! And it's darn nice la...with real pieces of crab meat okie!!! Not those crab stick crab meat lor...I was rather impressed. Heh.

The chili powder for my soup!! Comes in a quaint little "pot" and a quaint little ladle. So kawaii!!!

Clement's set dinner!! Comes with miced pork+beef+vege on rice, and buttered salmon!! Together with miso soup, cold lotus roots and salad to go along. Both fish and rice are available separately. But set meal seems like a good idea since we were both hungry. Oh! The salmon skin is darrrrrn nice!!!! Hahahaha.

Our dessert! With red bean paste, some tang yuan-like dumpling and green tea ice cream!!! Very nice wor. Clement and I shared this together. Hahaha. :P

Okie that's all for my photo post. Haha. :) Back to tutorials!!!

It's Apr

Time of the exams. Blah~~~~

Wanted to post some photos...but my computer is not "guai" today and so I can't seem to access flickr homepage. Well, actually my computer is so darn problematic lar. Jeez. Something is wrong with the routing and the IP thingy... Haiz. But I shall only meddle with it after exams. Heh.

One thing though. My sis can't access any of her flash games and she's been complaining about it!! But at least it prevented her from hogging the computer. Heh heh. *evil*

Oh. And today is me and clement's 35th month together. Sounds ancient already. lol. We celebrated it yesterday because he's working today. :) (yup i know i was supposed to study but I was taking a breather so this is as good as any one. hehe.) So 1 more month to 3 years! Heh~

And I have some kind of swollen eye or something. I think I'm too heaty lar. Yesterday should have taken notice and drank more herbal tea...but too bad I didn't so it erupted on my eye lid. Yikes. I am very wary of swollen eyes...ever since during my JC prom night I had a really really bad one. >.<

Hopefully it goes away soon!!!

On a happier note, I found my pinky ring!! Yay! Haha. It was supposed to be on my dressing table, dunno how come it jumped into the comb box (the only place I didn't look). And so my mom only found it when she wanted to wash the combs. Haha. So I have my ring back. Heh. No more bad omen!

No more bling bling ring. Heh.

10 modules, 2 open-book. Another 10 days. Geez.

I need divine intervention to help me pass everything leh!!!

On a side note, I cleared 2 modules. 8 more to go. So 2 open book, means 6 more to go. And since 2 of the PE is relatively easy, 4 more to go.

WAH. I am making everything seem small now. lol. But these 4 are so darn difficult larrr.....

Damn sian!!!
