Traumatised

I am freaking out now as I type...I suspect that I might have bak jiam again!!! Like what the heck!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Like that how to go out? Like that how to give tuition?

Wah rau...

SSSSIIIIANNNN

Must be my Nescafe Milk Shake I had at Bt Timah just now...It came with heaps of milo on top!!!

And even while nursing 2 superbly huge ulcers, I happily drank it up....

Now I'm getting my desserts. :((((

Oh ya talking about my ulcers...I am really amazed at how it evolved. It started from me accidentally biting my flesh, which resulted into two wounds. And then two wounds became two small ulcers. And the ulcers GREW until now they are side by side, barely touching each other. Have a feeling that it will actually merge and become ONE BIG ULCER soon...thanks to agitation by my Milo-Laden Nescafe Milk Shake.

I feel disgusting.

Bleah~!!!!

I need watermelon...lots of it!!! I think it is the only way to cure my ulcers...and hopefully, my bak jiam or whatever that is on my eye.

I still think it's very very non-coincidental.

The last time I had bak jiam was when I needed to go for my JC grad dinner. I had a HUGE one then...and so I got the hair stylist to cover it up. Luckily in the photos it didn't really show that much.

Right now I am going for the uni grad dinner this Friday. And guess what? I think I am going to have bak jiam again!!! Why my bak jiam happens at such crucial periods one huh huh huh....

It seems to be growing everytime I look at it. Haiiiiz.

Few days ago my phone died on me. You know, like, literally dropped dead. Was happily chatting away on my mobile and then suddenly it restarted, then it refused to search for the operator, and then it died. Got me quite stunned because my dearest hp is barely 3 months old!!! And I have never dropped it in the toilet bowl nor anywhere else, for the matter of fact.

So I went down to the service centre to hand it in for them to repair.

And yesterday I went to collect it. Just nice the service counter was serving another customer with the same hp as mine...I heard the guy telling her that "oh, we changed the battery for you, because there were some problems with it."

So while waiting for my service personnel to collect my hp, I began wondering what's wrong with my hp. And then she told me, "Your problem was that the phone cannot switch on right, now it's working already. We changed the board, the joystick, and the earpiece/charging connector for you."

Like wah! My phone in such dire straits that they have to change almost everything in the hp lor. My phone is practically brand new now. Only left camera, battery and perhaps the keypad/screen never changed. Even infra-red port is new one because it comes with the new board!

Either SE's customer service is fabulous or else their phones are so chui. Haha.

But I swear I didn't abuse my phone leh...just that I played quite a bit of games on it. Heehee.

Anyway EVERYTHING is gone in this phone of mine, all the themes, ringtones, pictures...whatsoever. So dumb...should have saved it on the memory stick lor.

But nevermind, my PC is coming back already...it's ready but there's no transport to bring it back lo. Must wait for my knight in shining armour lo. Heehee.

I seriously can't wait to load more games into my hp leh!

Arguments of the Both Sexes

To be needy, is it good or no good?

Some people say that needy gf/bf are a bane because of their constant need for attention. And some people feel that it is tiresome to have a needy bf/gf.

Well, to a certain extent, it may be true. However, if the bf/gf is totally not needy, does it mean that it is good?

If he doesn't need you now, he doesn't need you forever.
The only reason why he needs you, is because he loves you.
If he doesn't love you anymore, why does he have to need you?

Between a couple, there is always one party who is more needy than the other party. So there's always a contradiction, because the needy party cannot understand why the other party is being so aloof, whereas the less-needy party cannot understand why the other party is so needy.

Ok I am not talking about the super-needy types yet. Right now I am limiting my argument to those who are needy to a certain extent (ie. someone in family is in trouble and you need support of the bf/gf)

It is probably fair to think that, if in times of need, there is someone who can lend you support, hold your hand, guide you through, that sort of thing. And it's nice to know that sometimes when you are feeling so lost, that person comes in and helps tide you through your difficulties. And you know that no matter what, he is always there and you can always depend on him. And you know that no matter what, for your sake, he will do his best to help you, and that includes putting down his prior engagments just to ensure that you are alright.

If in a relationship, your guy/girl can do this for you, then you know that he/she is the one already. No need to think too much, because if you cannot even accept someone who is willing to cast aside their own work/worries just to help you, then you certainly do not deserve to be with someone like them.

But how about those people who never seems to need anyone??

I have this for you: Don't bother finding yourself a bf/gf then. If you feel that you don't need anyone by your side, don't need anyone whom you wish to share your life with, don't need anyone to share your troubles/happiness/whatever, then don't bother settling for just one boy/girl. In other words, just play the field. Why tie yourself to someone just because?

Sometimes you may end up hurting the very nice boy/girl just because you feel like you don't need anyone...and all that he/she wants to do for you is to be there by your side, for you...only. But if you can't share anything with him/her, then you can't share anything of his/hers. It is often frustrating on both parties because one party wants to share while the other party doesn't see the necessity.

Because of the difference in values towards a relationship, in a long run both parties in the couple will not be happy, and the relationship just ends anyway. So I say, don't even bother.

Hmm...so how about the kind of person that has played the field and finally found that one person whom he can share everything with?

Good for you. Be sure to treat him/her to the very best you can and never let her down. She doesn't deserve it anymore than you do.

Which comes to a question...do playboys ever settle down??

Well well well!!! I have heard of a playboy getting married to a girl who was with him for less than a year, in terms of months I have no idea.

And when asked, his reason for getting married at such a short notice was because he felt that he already met the right one, no need to look anymore and since both are of marriageable age, so they just got married there and then.

So simple isn't it? If only all playboys' hearts and heads are so easily decipherable.

And so that's why I came to the conclusion that most guys, if not all of them, have an intrinsic knowledge of the kind of girl they are looking for. And until they do meet her, they'd never knew. So that means that until they meet her, they never really knew of what type of girl they are looking for. They can have a certain kind of criteria, they may have some expectations, but they never know exactly how she is like.

However once they meet her, they know it for sure that she is THE ONE and they know it instinctively. And after that, they will not hesitate to make her "his", because they do not want to lose her to other people. And they cannot afford to lose her because they know that they may not find another like her again.

That is why I have often heard of many guy friends telling me, "yes, she's the one, I don't need to look for anyone else." or "she's my first and probably the last, because I know she is."

And I often wonder how come they so know for sure that she is the one and not someone else?

Then I came to the conclusion that if she's not the one, they probably won't spend time and effort on her already. Maybe the relationship will last not more than 6 months, because guys, like I know them, they do not waste time and effort on things/matters that they know will not have a happy ending. They will consider it a waste of their time even.

So does it means that couples who are together for more than a few years are definitely made for each other?

No. It just means that the guy cannot decide whether the girl is right for him or not. And so he continues to be with her, maybe out of fear of loneliness, or a need for companionship. Or maybe the girl is hysterical and is very needy.

Some guys stay with their girlfriends because they feel an innate sense of pity for her, like as if she is so poor thing just because without a boyfriend she will feel so lost. Or maybe the guy likes to feel needed by someone else, probably because in his family he is always forgotten and unwanted.

Or maybe, he might just be still KIV-ing her as a potential THE ONE. And of course anything you KIV you won't throw it away...you just keep her around and wait until one day the feeling that she is really really THE ONE and then you will propose to her, marry her and then live happily ever after.

Meanwhile get to know more people and see whether there are anymore potential "THE ONE"s. So he knows that he won't lose out on the market, you see. If there isn't anyone else better than the girlfriend, he will marry the girlfriend. But if there is someone who is seemingly better than her, he will probably drop her already. And this will bring me back to my first argument that guys know it instinctively what kind of girl they are looking for...just that until they meet her, they do not know exactly what they want.

So it seems like girls are such poor creatures isn't it?

No. It is not true. Girls just operate differently from guys. Much differently, if I may say. While guys know instinctively what kind of girl constitutes THE ONE, girls do not have a specific THE ONE. Maybe it just so happens that she gets along really well with this one guy, feels really comfy with him, and both of them can click. And then they become boyfriend-girlfriend. So their relationship develops. She sees that the both of them have the same values towards certain aspects of their lives, the kind of ethics and morals they share, and the same attitude to most things in their lives. And so she begins to think that she can marry this kind of guy, because of the so many common things they share, the fact that he cares for her, and he is attentive to her.

So simple isn't it? When a girl gets together with a guy, she goes about discovering different aspects of him, before deciding that he will be THE ONE she will marry. Whereas for guys, it's often get together, and in a snap of the fingers, they know at once whether this girl is the one they want. If not, he just lets her go eventually.

Or maybe the guys do spend some time trying to convince himself that she's the kind of girl he is looking for, until he finally meets the RIGHT girl and realises that all he has been trying to do is to deceive himself into something which he does not want wholeheartedly.

So since girls and guys operate differently, it is no wonder why sometimes girls tend to hurt more than the guy. For a guy, if she's not right, then there's no point in holding on, wasting time. Just move on. And for the girl, from the starting till to the point of breaking up, she might have already started falling for him just because of the numerous things she have discovered of him.

In a sense, girls tend to hurt more during a break up just because of that, but this is just how we are biologically inclined. Of course I am leaving out the headstrong type of girl who knows exactly what she wants, and in many sense, operate much like a guy. And I am also leaving out the kind of guy who probably finds his THE ONE and realises that he's not the one for the girl and the girl initiates the breakup with him.

There are always two sides to everything..,just like there are two sides to a coin. What I have stated here is the general norm of most girls and guys, from the people around me.

So why am I typing all these all of the sudden?

Because it's been a naggy thought for quite some time. Haha. I am often wondering how come girls cry so much over a breakup and guys become an alcohol distillery after a breakup. And sometimes how come girls can cry so much after a breakup, that even 3 years after that, when she thinks of him, she can still cry so much like she just broke up the day before. And how come guys, after a breakup, even though they may be miserable for a while, can even forget some of their ex-es, as if they never both crossed paths before.

Needed to sort out my thoughts for a while here la. :)

Me Wonders...

when my chui-ed computer will be back.

Sian ah. Apparently the motherboard blew so of course chui...now it's sent back to the suppliers to repair or replace me with one. Luckily it's under warranty.

But it's been more than a week liao!!!

Chui chui chui.

I feel deprived of my computer, the internet, the aimless surfing online...and my auctions. I am inspired to do auctions because I bought too many things and so I need to sell some off to create more space at my home.

OH. I suddenly have this mad-cap idea...I want to own a condo!!!!

I want to buy a condo by 25, rent it out, then sell it...or move into it myself. Haha.

But first I must earn enough money for me to buy condo lo.

And yup...I also hope to move out by 25. It's a perfect idea because I warrant I might be OLD enough by then to do so. And even if parents object, it's not gonna stop me. Because I am OLD enough liaooo!!!

Anyway I think my house got not enough space for me to put ALL my things lor.
And I can't stop buying somemore things.
That will be one of the reasons why I need to move out. Tee-hee.

And stay in my condo. *continues dreaming*

I want to watch plays leh.
How how how?

Who got discount to Broadway Beng? Haha. I want to go watch.
Already missed Marriage of Figaro. What a huge waste!!!

They are playing, as I am typing this.

I think I haven't done enough shopping...when I am back I shop EVEN MORE. LoL~!
Same for the kimchi-land companion, who couldn't stop shopping also. Hahaha.

We are both so dead. :P

Back

Me is back from land of KimChi.

I still wanna go back can!?

Bleah~!

Singapore's weather is so hot sia...I love the kimchi-land weather!

Ooh. Not only land of kimchi...make that the land of The Face Shop, The Skin Food, Misscha and the land of Etude.

I went crazy there and popped into every TFS, TSF I found. Hahaha. I only never go Misscha lor.

Everything is so cheap there that I just want to buy the whole shop!!!!!
Not to mention my 1000, 2000 won earrings. Haha.

Oh my god I bought like 9 pairs!!! And then I bought 2 necklaces. Hahaha. I bought so little hor, because I had time-limit on shopping lor!!

If I had my way I would have spent the whole day there just shopping. I don't want to go anywhere else. Everything is sooo cheeeeap!!!!

Cheaper than BKK, FYI.

I found some of those earrings I bought from BKK last year...and behind the board I saw "Made in Korea". It costs 130 baht (S$6) ok.

And for the same pattern of earrings (chandelier, crystal-kind), it costs like 2000 won.

Which is like S$3.20!!!!!!!

So I bought EVEN MORE earrings than I did for my BKK trip. And all are so pretty!!!

Now it comes down to where the heck I am going to wear them to? Dunno leh. I bought because I like!

I so want to go back to Korea now!!!
I want to buy more masks from TFS and TSF.
I want to buy makeup from Etude.
I want to buy more 2000 won earrings!!
I want to buy 10000 won bags!!!

Been watching Winter Sonata ever since I got back. Now I can better appreciate those places I went. Haha. Like so lame...people go because of the show. And I went without knowing anything (but still we took a lot of pics!) and now I am reminiscing everything.

Only now then I realised that majority of the trip was Winter Sonata stuffs...and also a bit of All In, a bit of Endless Love. Well, the Endless Love one was not included in the itenarary but the guide bought us there because he thought it might be a waste not to since we will pass by it.

Same went for the World Cup Stadium!! Haha. It's the place where people went crazy over football 4 years ago.

Talking about football, I am soooo disappointed Spain didn't get in lar!!! And Brazil also. And then France got in and lost the chance to Italy. Whatever....

Had a good dose of soccer in Korea!! Koreans are football-crazy!! Haha. For the quarter-final, there were not 1, not 2, but 3 channels showing football lor!!!! Wah liew...exact same thing...all broadcast in High-Definition. Singapore? We only have Starhub. And we have to pay to watch it. In Korea it's free lor.

But the commentary is in Korean lar. Hahaha.
But it doesn't make a difference. When the guys get a shot-on-goal, the commentator will go "Shoooooot!!!". Universal language....lol.

Well, the coolest thing is that, their mobile phones can watch TV de lor!!!!

And my guide showed us the football match on his mobile. So sharp and clear somemore!!! All the players' faces can see so clearly...even better than watching on TV sia. Hahaha.

I am certainly very impressed!!!!

And their public phones can do video call one lor. So futurisitc...reminds me of 1 movie that I watched...hmm....what is that...the one with the clones and all that.

Aiya but I am so duper impressed with Korea now. Hahaha.

And their airport is seeking to surpass Singapore's. Well, they are now the largest in Asia, and Singapore is 2nd already.

Oh. And we took Korean Air there....the stewardesses are soooo pretty!!!!

LoL~! Like very pervertish of me but they really really are. Best I have seen so far... :)

And because we had to take internal flight upon reaching Seoul, so that means we took a total of 4 flights with KE.

And for some funny thing, the internal flight airplanes are like, better than the international flight lor.

The seats are better, more cushiony and wider.
And the air stewardesses are actually more chio than the international flight one.

Why huh???

Came to the conclusion that because Koreans are very proud of their country and their heritage, so they reserve the best for themselves!!!

Anyways. I am also very impressed by KE pilots.
On the onward internal flight, we landed in fog. On the returning internal flight, we took off in a thunderstorm.

But on both flights it was very smooth! Especially the way we landed. Had a few bad experiences whereby the airplane hits with a loud thud on the ground and everyone feels thrown forward. So scary. Haha. But for KE, the landing got no feeling one. No thud, no one gets thrown forward. Only the braking motion signalled the that the plane had touched ground lor. Was very surprised...but then I realised it's consistent for all the 4 flights we took with KE. Their pilots are good. Haha.

Oh but I must say taking off in a thunderstorm was really a first-time experience. Haha. I was rather surprised that they proceeded to take off...and I was half worried whether the added rain pelting down on the plane would force the plane down or something. And then for the 1st part of the flight it was a roller-coaster...sometimes it's free fall sometimes it felt like 2 Gs.

So exciting!!

That's why I delayed calling my parents until we reached Seoul again. Haha. Dunno what will happen ma. :)

Oh. Korean girls are all so pretty! Even the aunty who opens a hamburger shop also styles her hair, puts on eyeshadow, the mascara...everything!!

All the girls put on make up when they go anywhere!!! It's hard to spot a girl on the streets with NOTHING on. The lengths they go to look good...I am suitably impressed. Haha.

I feel like a foreigner there . Haha. Just because I don't put on make up. Only concealer... :) Lazy because for the next few days I woke up late and so it's always a mad rush to wash up, pack up and go out.

And I do believe it's important to look good. Haha. No point having the best features in the world but not knowing how to play them up and emphasize them. All those stuffs about natural beauty are crap. Natural beauty is knowing how to put on neutral make up and playing up 1 or 2 features on the face. :)

My computer has chui-ed so it's back to my trusty lappie and my sis hogging MY lappie now. This sucks.

I SO WANT TO MOVE OUT NOW!!!!!
